Hosted by the Archdiocese of Oakland, Mercy: the Heart of Peace will embody the message that peace lies at the heart of religion, and that believers are called to be peacemakers and instruments of mercy. GTU President Riess Potterveld will be among those offering public prayers at the event, which features participants representing multiple faith traditions.
Join us for an inspirational forum that will bring together Jewish and Christian religious leaders to discuss what we can do together to help the Israeli and Palestinian people move forward toward peace and a two-state solution. All too often, our shared values of peace and reconciliation are drowned out by polarizing voices in our community.
