This conversation will explore women, power, and prophecy in the Hellenistic world and how modern preconceptions of gender norms are challenged in Hellenistic Jewish texts. Exploring the Greek Sibyl as a Jewish pseudonym considers the impact of a female prophetic voice in a male dominated prophetic tradition.
