Dominican Colloquia in Berkeley: Philosophers & Theologians in Conversation
This colloquium, the first in what is planned to be a triennial series on the intersection between philosophy and theology, seeks to continue the venerable Dominican tradition of bringing together philosophers and theologians to explore the theological implications of contemporary work in philosophy, as well as philosophical questions that emerge from theological inquiry.
DSPT Professor of Philosophy and Theology Sr. Marianne Farina, CSC and JST Professor of Christology and Cultures Dr. Thomas Cattoi will discuss the growing importance of interreligious dialogue for the Catholic Church from the publication of Nostra Aetate to the present.

The Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology (DSPT) sent representatives to Mexico to join top Mexican intellectuals for conversations examining political, economic, and social assumptions at work in Mexico and the U.S. in the first annual Mazatlán Forum.
Janko Zagar, O.P. died on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the age of 92 as the result of complications from a head trauma received during a recent fall. Fr. Janko was born in Croatia in 1921 and came to the U.S. after WWII.
