Sunstone West is a symposium sponsored by Sunstone Magazine, a publication dedicated to Mormon experience, scholarship, issues, and art.
All sessions will be held at Pacific School of Religion, 1798 Scenic Avenue, Berkeley. One session will be dedicated to Mormon Studies at the GTU and the Academy. Arthur Holder (GTU), doctoral student Michael Reed, and Sheila Taylor (GTU Ph.D. '11) are plenary speakers with Robert Rees (GTU) moderating. Taylor and Rees are featured speakers throughout the symposium.

This year, the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University will host a series of events on the theme "The Unfinished Agenda of Vatican II," commemorating the 50th anniversary of Vatican II (the first session met in October 1962).
