The annual SOP (Statement of Purpose) Workshop is presented by the GTU Admissions Office and is led by Dean Uriah Kim and Professors Jay Johnson and Rita Sherma. This afternoon will assist you in writing this very important application component. Our panelists will speak about the characteristics of a strong statement of purpose and what makes a statement stand out, and you will get a chance to ask questions and examine some sample statements.

Join renowned liberation theologian Jung Mo Sung for a lecture on the myths that sustain and empower the growth of capitalism and to consider alternative myths that can nourish alternative economies. Lecture will take place in the Chapel of the Great Commission on the campus of Pacific School of Religion, beginning at 5 p.m.
Jung Mo Sung is Professor of Religious Studies at the Graduate Program in Religious Studies at the Methodist University of São Paulo, Brazil.
