How the Holocaust is Being Remembered and Commemorated in Poland: Brown Bag Lunch with Edyta Gawron
Dr. Edyta Gawron is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Jewish Studies, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and the head of the new Centre for the Study of the History and Culture of Krakow Jews (Jagiellonian University). As a specialist in the 20th century history of Polish Jews, Holocaust studies and post-Holocaust Jewish Diaspora she cooperates with various academic institutions and museums in Poland and abroad.

Over the past eight years, Barnea has served as an anchorman and special correspondent on Arab affairs on Israel's Channel 2. Barnea formerly was an advisor to Ezer Weizman, the President of Israel. He also wrote for the Hadashot newspaper, was a correspondent and anchor for Israel Radio, specializing in Arab affairs.

Theodore Bikel is an Academy Award and Tony Award-nominated actor and musician. A recognized interpreter of Yiddish, Russian and Hebrew folk songs, Bikel was an activist in the Soviet Jewry Freedom Movement.

Itzkovitz is Professor of English at Stonehill College. He is writing a book entitled Fixing the Jews, which examines 21st century attempts to fix the meanings of Jewishness, and in the process, to fix what's wrong with Jewish life today.
