Interlibrary Loan

Please use the form below to request articles and book chapters not owned by the GTU library and they will be emailed to you. Books requests will need to be picked up at the library. Normally we don't use ILL for items owned by the GTU, however for books temporarily unavailable due to the digitization project ,please use this form. We are happy to get materials from other libraries for you.

Local patrons have access to the 11 million items at UC-Berkeley. If you are near Berkeley, you can visit their library to check out materials and use their computers to download articles and read ebooks. If an item is available at UC-Berkeley, please visit their library rather than requesting ILL services, as they don't deliver books to us. Chat a librarian if you have questions about UC-Berkeley collections, we can help you find items.

Patrons at a distance: Please use this form to request articles. For books, chat us and we can help you find a local library near you to checkout books. We have many reciprocal borrowing programs in the United States and Canada, or a local public library might be able request the book via their ILL services.

For questions about your ILL requests please contact: ILL@gtu.edu  For general questions about finding materials contact: library@gtu.edu or chat us from this page.

All Interlibrary loans are subject to compliance with Title 17 Copyright Law
NOTICE WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS:
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or other reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
